Biography

I am an artist working mostly with sound an all its forms.
Composing, recording, performing, sound design for theatre and film, RSL radio stations, making acoustic instruments and digital interfaces, teaching, listening and dancing.

I have worked with Welfare State International, Dogtroep, More Music, Walk The Plank, The Sage Gateshead, Fact, Folly, Cornerhouse, Lanternhouse, Dreamtime Film.

 I currently play percussion and trombone with The Balkanics, bass drum with Tongues of Fire, trombone, melodeon, bellophone and vocals with Salt and percussion with Fitz and Fox.

Most recent projects are Solfest FM live festival radio, outdoor sound trails for Northumberland Lights, a directional audio installation Hysss, outdoor instruments for school playgrounds and building a recording studio at my base in Ulverston.

Next year I will be making a new outdoor music show for Lakes Alive.
